Q1: What are the submission requirements?
Please submit a written description together with supporting images or videos. Your submission must include all of the following:
- Content Title: A clear and distinctive name for your concept.
- Content Description: A concise summary of your inspiration and the specific scenario or problem your design addresses.
- Originality: Submissions must be original. Plagiarism, adaptations, or close imitations of existing brands are strictly prohibited. Do not include any third-party logos or identifiable brand elements.
Q2: What file formats and specifications are required?
- Images: Maximum file size: 10MB. Please ensure all visuals are clear and high-resolution.
- Videos: Maximum file size: 20MB.
- CAD Files: Supported formats: .OBJ or .STL. Maximum file size: 50MB.
- Note: Images preferred; multiple uploads allowed. Do not include personal watermarks on any images or video frames.
Q3: Who will judge the submissions, and what are the evaluation criteria?
To protect the confidentiality of your ideas, all submissions will be reviewed privately by an internal panel of Olight experts and selected community members.
Entries will be evaluated across four key dimensions to determine the Top 5 from the Top 15:
- Innovation: Breakthroughs in light interaction, application scenarios, or structural design.
- Feasibility: Engineering viability based on the existing ArkPro architecture.
- User Experience: Effectiveness in addressing real pain points for our user.
- Brand Synergy: Alignment with Olight's "Innovative" and "Pioneering" DNA.
Q4: How many rounds are there, and how does the selection process work?
To ensure a fair and rigorous selection process, evaluation will take place in two stages:

Round 1: Preliminary Expert Review (June 22-24)
15 finalists will be selected.All submissions will be reviewed by Olight's internal expert panel. Entries will be evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and brand synergy.
Round 2: Grand Finale (June 25-26)
- The final Top 5 winners will be determined through a dual-channel evaluation system:Community Vote: Part of our O-Fan community will vote for their favorite concepts within the community
- Expert Evaluation: The Olight judging panel will score entries based on technical criteria Final rankings will be determined by combining both scores.
Q5: If I win a Top 5 Grand Prize, will I still receive the Finalist Award?
The Finalist Award is the base award for all Top 15 participants, and official notifications will be sent upon selection.
For the Top 5 Grand Prize winners, the reward will be automatically upgraded to the corresponding Gold, Silver, or Bronze prize.
Prizes are not cumulative—the Grand Prize will replace the Finalist Award to ensure top innovators receive the highest recognition.
Q6: Are Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards guaranteed?
We follow a "quality over quantity" principle. If no submissions meet our evaluation standards, certain award tiers may remain vacant.
Olight reserves the right of final interpretation and decision.
Q7: Will winning designs be mass-produced?
Each winning concept will be evaluated based on real-world manufacturing feasibility before a final decision on mass production is made.
Q8: How are commissions or royalties calculated after mass production?
Category 1: New Original Colorway Designs or Core Functional Innovations
Designs that introduce completely new original colorway or core functionalities are eligible for a long-term reward model, with maximum production bonus of $50,000 Cash.
