I bought my first Olight about 2 years ago. The Boldr mini was the perfect fit for my duty weapon. I've been hooked since. When my department issued lights die in the middle of my shift, my Olights keep going strong. Olights have helped me give field sobriety tests, find runaway pets, run VINs of stolen vehicles, locate those narcotics hidden in the trunk, see that gun on the passenger seat at the 'bad guys' ready, locate pedestrians thrown over (or under) the guardrail after being struck by a driver that didn't care enough to stop and so much more. It's nice knowing I can count on Olight while others are counting on me.

My story is very similar to Alot of people's, it started with a light I got a few years ago and has developed into morethen just a light and a company, it has unveiled friendships with new people, getting to know new things, being part of this community is nothing less then family, I lost my leg in a motorcycle accident a few years back, befor I got the prosthetic that I am on now I had Alot of down time,, olight filled that time for me, with the people, great company that treats the customer amazingly, if thereis a problem they will fix it!! How it started

I’m as a few months ago, a retired law enforcement officer. Our department issue flashlight is a Pelican 7575. Strong body great throw but with a major flaw. It can run for roughly an hour and needs 10 to 11 hours to recharge on a special charger.  I was working Metro and normally this was ok but during the pandemic and protesters throughout the city, I needed a good light that can recharge fast on the go! So glad I bought the Warrior X Pro! Compact, solid, great throw and wide beam area. Because of the USB magnetic charging cable, I Cold keep it charge with a battery bank or USB port in our unit.  
One night we responded to a call of protesters sitting homeless camps on fire with people in the camp. As multiple units arrived, the protesters fled under some freeway bridge and maintenance areas that had no lighting. Officers approach but I was on the top of the bridge. I used my Warrior X Pro and it lit the entire area up. We could spot five people hiding and one with a crossbow taking aim at the officers. Because my light was so bright and shining down from above, the protesters thought it was “air support (helicopter) and surrendered. Officers could see the threat with the crossbow and order him to drop the weapon, he complied. Thanks to the power and area my Olight offered, we mange to make the arrest and keep officers from getting hurt by an arrow. I’m grateful to Olight for this.   

Best Tool For The Job 

So as the story goes it was late one evening as it was good and dusky dark, the tones dropped   for a motor vehicle accident at a local restaurant with confirmed entrapment. In my mind I am thinking that we were going to be having a bad wreck out on the main highway that was in front of the restaurant.  So we pull up in our Engine and notice nothing in the highway so as we start scanning the area we notice a lot of commotion in the drive thru. Upon further investigating we learn that a young man that was in a motorized wheel chair was in the drive thru line as an elderly lady pulls up behind him. Then as the lady goes to press her brakes she mistakenly presses the gas. She pins the young man under the rear end of the small suv in front of him. I had my trusty S1 Baton in my pocket and was able to see the situation underneath the vehicle pretty rapidly. The young man had an exposed femur fracture and we had to put air bags underneath the front vehicle to raise it up where the wheel chair was shoved under neath it. Having a great light that was easy to get out and deploy helped me tremendously in figuring out what was going on in the situation. Ever since that call I have fell in love with the Olight brand and currently have 18 various lights that Olight makes. Super proud owner than thinks this brand will stand out and work every time for me in an emergency situation.

It all started November 11th 2020 with my first real purchase from Olight. It was a PL-Mini 2 Bundle, PL-2 Valkyrie, and a DT PL- Pro. Little did I know it had opened up a world of addiction. haha. Just 2 weeks later during the Black Friday sale my stash would grow 10 fold. I have only purchased in 4 sales so far and my stash continues to grow. I have given a lot of way as gifts and have held lots of giveaways in the Olight FB group. Olight does a great job at making you feel like family. Getting you to engage with them and their activities. I can officially say I am glad to have found Olight and looking forward to more things to come!

In my years of collecting, I have made so many amazing friends from all over the 🌎 I thank you all for your friendshp and help with my Ocollection. Olight truly brings us together in such a positive manner, which I certainly appreciate. This is my SWAG collection. I look forward to building it up even more! SWAG ADDICT!!!

My story with Olight began when I was looking for a small but useful light that I could keep on me at all times that was rechargeable and didn't break the bank. That's where I stumbled upon an olight review of the I1R EOS on YouTube. I quickly ordered one but had no clue that I was starting my olight addiction. I wasn't even a flashlight guy before this, I would just use the light on my phone. Slowly my collection started to grow, then I found the Facebook olight community. Seeing everyone's collections only helped to justify my addiction lol. Fast forward to today and my collection has expanded tenfold and I don't even hesitate dropping several hundreds on flash sales. I was introduced to the Olight community in March 22 2020 by Jonathan Cruse and Nekkid Yang. Then it was all about buying the oldest lights and making sure that you had a second one that was sealed. Most of us bought two and three sealed ones just in case we wanted to trade for something we didn't have at the time. It was and still is a great way to meet people in the Olight community. Some of the collections of them that people have would startle the  non collector. I am always looking and searching for the older Olights to fill my collection. This is a hobby that you are all in or you just need a couple of really good lights around. I enjoy collecting and being part of the Olight crew and team. Best part is that I get to be friends with all of you on here and learn back and forth. Keep collecting my Olight friends.

My collection started with a black i3t in July 2020 and has grown from that to over 150 lights. I have really come to enjoy collecting and being a part of this community. I’ve met several friends that I hope to keep the rest of my life. My collection has 9-10 complete sets, and I have another 5-6 that are a light or two away. The best thing though, has been the friendships that I have found in this community, these cannot be assigned a value, and are worth more than any light in my collection.

Becoming a collector

I do Search and rescue for my department and I always carry an Olight with me, especially the Seeker 2 Pro in our UTVs. I can rely on it because it hasn't failed me, and has stood up to the abuse of my clumsiness. Everyone loves it a lot and so far I have no issues with it. It is the handy dandy tool in my extensive EDC kit!

This is how I became “O’ddicted” to Olights and had to collect everything I could. It started with the unprecedented freezing weather we experienced in southeast Texas back in late February this year. I was really new to Olight, having just purchased an Odin for my first tactical shotgun. Olight wanted to help those impacted by the storms, losing power and dealing with the issues, so they sent us a free i3t. I had never heard of this light but as soon as I got it, I fell in love. It was the perfect size for me to carry every day. Then I lost it a month later in a state park. I had to have another one so I searched for a direct replacement. That search started me on a journey. I discovered that there were several colors available as well as special ones with engravings for holidays. I had to collect them all. So, here I sit about 6 months later with a collection of i3t’s that has grown from 1 free gift to now approximately 20 different variations. I love this light so much. And my collection all started because the company cared enough to want to help in any way it could.

I first started with olight when my son gave me an olight keychain light  .. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I had shoulder surgery and had to relocate to the recliner my husband purchased an obulb to keep on the side table (so I could use my fancy ice machine and find my meds) . He then upgraded me to the obulb MC and with my second surgery coming up I purchased the olantern mini ( easy to use one handed! Thank you Olight for some amazing products that have come in handy everyday!

I work Law Enforcement and have been an Olight user for several years. One night we got a call of a guy breaking into a car wash and was stealing money. An Officer gets there and chases the suspect on foot. I arrived and shadowed the foot chase in my patrol car. I jumped out and intercepted the suspect. A fight ensued and the suspect assaulted the other Officer and began to run again. I ran after the suspect and at one point shined my M2R Warrior pro in his face which caused him to be disoriented and fall face first into a bush. End of story…

Getting The Bad Guy

I remember back to when I was just a young man out at hunting camp.  I hadn't seen much for the first few days of the trip other than some curious squirrels and an occasional doe. This inspired my friends dad to send me back, deep into the bedding area for the evening hunt.  This area is reserved for times like this when the hunt is hard and time is running low.   Sitting on the ground, pushed up in some bushes I thought to myself, I've never seen so many doe milling about.... but much like the previous days of the trip, no bucks anywhere to be found. As the sun set over the horizon and my evening came to a close, I gathered my gear and took out my flashlight. I was heading back in and the subpar flashlight I went out with kept flicking on and off then eventually just went out.  There was very little moon out that evening so I was pretty much walking in blind. Maybe halfway back, I could her rustling in the bushes. I froze. The sounds kept growing nearer and nearer. I started to talk at the noises to let whatever was there know of my presence. To no avail. As I struggled to load the .270, dropping ammo on the ground, the grunts and snorts grew closer and closer.  When the beast was close enough that I could hear its labored breathing I let out a thunderous battle cry of "LETS DO THIS!" as I drew my knife.  It may have been the shrill scream of "please don't hurt me", but my memory fades with time.  It was at this point when everything stopped moving and time stood still for a moment.  What followed could only be described as a freight train crashing through the forest followed by more silence.  As I made my way through the dark of night, my heart still racing, I vowed to never be without aquality torch again.

I'm Batman. I protect the city from evil (and Superman). When I'm not fighting crime, I spend most of my time debating Superman on endless topics. He thinks the best flashlight is an Ozark Trail light. INCORRECT! The best flashlight is obviously any light you pick from Olight! I use them all the time. I only fight at night, and since I do 99% of my work in a cave, you know how often I need a flashlight. I might even ask Gordon to buy an Olight for the bat signal. People think my best friend is Bruce Wayne. But it's actually Eric Novella. He's the one who told me about Olights. We go to a lot of comic cons together and we bring the i5UV, mostly to gross out our colleges, but also so we know where not to step in the hotel rooms. You might be asking yourself, "Will I ever see Batman and Eric in the same room?". No, you won't. It's not because we're the same person, that's silly. Why would you think that? It's because when I'm around, Eric is out buying more Olights. And when he's around, I'm out using the Olights he bought. Maybe to work in the cave, maybe I'm just using the pretty colors of the Obulb MC to put Robin to sleep. Any way you slice it, an Olight always comes in handy. Take it from me, I'm Batman!

Well, goodbye to my first OBulb MC! We went to a bonfire at our friends house and another couple attending brought their grandson who is 7ish. Next to my new grandson, he just might be the most handsome, nicest, and most polite young man ever. He was smitten with my new red Obulb MC so I let him play with it around the fire. He loved the light, the eyes, and sling. When the night was over he was politely handing it back to me with a thanks. I just had to send him home with his first Olight. He'll be a fan for life!!!

Got my 1st olight from a friend !!!  Was a DT i3t ! I was automatically hooked ! I now have over 30 users lol not even counting obulbs ! And the best customer service hands down !

The Olantern and specifically the flickering flame module has become very significant in our family's life ever since it has been released.  My wife sleeps with one on her nightstand each and every night as the flickering helps her to relax and have a wonderful night sleep.  Our children each have their own that they use in their rooms and even our beautiful dog Riley finds it comforting and it has become his favorite bed time light.  We use the flame module as a memorial candle for friends and family that have passed away as a remembrance on the anniversary or their passing.  Unfortunately we find ourselves using it more and more as we have lost way too many friends and family this past year.  It has been a hard year for us all and having events like O-Fan day helps in many ways.  Not just for the prizes and the give-a-ways but for the camaraderie and the ability to share with other like-minded people the joy that Olight has brought to us all in one way or another.  THANK you to the entire Olight community of engineers, marketing, sales, customer service and all others that I may have forgotten to mention.  Please know that you are all appreciated and we congratulate you on an amazing year.  Wishing you a future filled with furthered success, growth and ingenuity. To Light to Life

My collection is very small compared to a lot of people on here. I have had a lot happen this past year and have not been financially able to purchase more lights, but I am looking forward to being able to add to my collection as soon as funds allow!

New Olight Fan!

Yes I was one of those girls that rolled her eyes every time her Fiance made another Olight purchase but it's something he truly enjoys so I support him. I never really understood the need for a dedicated flashlight when you could just use your phone, but then he got me a purple S1R Baton II(purple is my absolute favorite color!!). Needless to say this light never leaves my side. I did recently misplace it for a day and almost had a literal heart attack! Since then he's also gotten me a purple S2R Baton II and a purple obulb and I'm starting to understand the fun side of collecting. He just purchased a large amount on here to get the free purple M2R and you can guess who's stealing that as soon as it arrives lol.

My story with Olight isn't super impressive or crazy. I'm a simple man who lives a pretty modest life on a fixed income so I can't always buy the latest greatest lights. I was gifted a baton pro by my son and I have faithfully carried it every single day ever since. I absolutely love this light and have no desire to buy the newest latest greatest light because this light is just awesome! I love the size, the brightness, and the simple user interface. You guys make great stuff and I'm super thankful for my baton pro!

I have just recently been introduced to olight. My wife gave me this pen as an anniversary present. A friend of hers is married to a huge olight fan and he recommended this as a gift for me because I am always signing things and always need a small light throughout the day while working. I quickly fell in love with this and have since carried it every day with me. I love to fidget with the bolt action in between jobs, the light comes in super handy when I'm working in a dark spot, and the pen writes super well for the documents that I sign. Added bonus the laser comes in handy when I'm playing with my dog as he loves to chase it. He will literally sit and stare at my pocket and then the ground and back and forth until I pull it out to let him chase it. This thing screams quality as well. I can't wait to place my first order and try out some other products. Thanks for reading!

Favorite Edc

I was gifted this Warrior mini by my parents a while back because I had mentioned needing a good light to walk my dog with at night. This light instantly became my favorite flashlight and I always have it with me now! As soon as I save up some extra scratch I plan on adding to my collection and trying out some other models as well!

This light was gifted to me as a housewarming present from my brother. At the time I thought I already had a flashlight (a maglite) why would I need another? He said just trust me, charge it up and see what you think. All I can say is holy cow what a difference!! So long maglite and hello olight!
